PERFECT PAIRING SONG OF THE DAY
If there is someone you care enough to think about at least once a day, never give up. We owe each other nothing but without each other we are nothing. We all may have faults and I will quickly know yours even though it may take a life time for me to uncover mine. Don’t let each other go to bed upset and sometimes all you have to is listen.
No matter how thick the wall of frustration is you, me and we are worth it.
have a good one everyone!!

In the belly of the cloud
I was released
You were released
Was it deafeningly loud?
Or was it peace?
Sweet peace
All the streets
All filled with sound
Because it’s right
It’s for the best
Still I sense
Their judgment now
As we ask for a judgment
I can’t sleep until I see you sleeping
Curse my mind and its all-seeing eye
Watch the rise
And wonder if you’re breathing
Against your will
You are alive
Iron brick couldn’t notch the wall
That we have made
That we have made
Still you fool yourself to ask
If you had stayed
If we had stayed
At the ringing of a bell
Or at the falling of a tree
If you think of it at all
Remember me
Trust me
I can’t breathe until I see you waking
Watching as the scars fall from your eyes
Into a world that you may not remember
I hope you die
I hope you die
I hope you die
I hope you die

I’ve decided that To-Do-Lists are helpful but To-Shoe-Lists are more fun. Besides making this list was on my list of things to do anyway.
1.CASHY CUTOUT WEDGE - JEFFREY CAMPBELL
2. CHIVES WEDGE BOOTIE - JEFFREY CAMPBELL
When I think back to my tween years and how I dealt with fashion - well to be honest I really try not to think back to such a horrid time. Let’s just say I tried a lot of styles but none of them really accentuated my positive aspects. Besides all that trendy fashion wasn’t always accessible. So quirky t-shirts and awkward cut pants have fueled what is now photo albums of fashion shame. When I get the courage I will definitely post some!
Nevertheless, these days it actually is much more likely to see young girls having fun with their fashion without regrets because it is so accessible. I thought these ladies were very dressed for their age and yea super fashionable down to the accessories.

don’t you love that chair??….ya I bought it for 3 euros, and he wanted to sell it to me for 25. HA!

Like every trip back home to Toronto I have to make a stop at 69 VINTAGE. I do love their selection, mostly because I always end up leaving with something.
It’s also where I met Emma. I was mesmerized by her layering skills…look at that the warm winter colours palette and the different types of textures…ooooohhh.

Her vintage boots are from STACKED VINTAGE.

Oh to be young and to have fun with fashion and for Paris to be your canvas! Alison, caught me with her platinum blonde hair then her Shooooes! She’s a great example of high street meets designer, but not in the conventional way. She mixes and matches so well you would have never know she loves shopping at H&M. You can still have your own style when you shop and trend big stores, you just have to be more creative with your look.
Now please scroll down and watch the video of how cute Alison is and how much of an idiot I am….and yes I just started with these videos so I promise to learn from my mistakes.

A casual day for Alison in her Christian Louboutin’s.

SALT FREE SHOES - ACT QUICK AND SAVE YOUR SHOES FROM THE WICKED-NESS OF WINTER!
I think and yes this is only me talking and yes this is a generalization but for the most part Canadians or at least my fellow Toronto-ians have a knack for complaining about the weather. Cold or warm - what have you. But weirdest thing is that when it is cold we don’t really dress for the weather! Until recent years winter weather wear has become hip! Usually everyone tries to layer every other season then throw on a beat up black coat over it all.
On my last trip to Paris I noticed most people were wearing the down-filled Canadian goose jackets…who woulda thought?
Now I’m just waiting for the time these L.L.Bean rubber boots really hits the international market. They are super warm and comfy and besides all that why waste money on nice shoes that salt is going to eat up anyway?

Style.com has put together a great list of winter weather ski must haves…check it out!
One of the best shops for vintage shopping on the run and a definite must of any Paris trip is KILIWATCH. They have the best selection of vintage from all the vintage stores I’ve ever been in… like I mean the world …. I’m serious! So go go go, even it’s just to people watch.
Coralie + Lola caught my eye with their amazing hair and of course their style!

Coralie in her H&M geisha inspired sandals. I’ve covered this sort of sandal and sock combo before in London… what do you think?? I think it most things can work if you own it and really work it. Even if it probably doesn’t work on me.

Don’t you just love my fire-y orange red Nike Free Run+ kicks?? I’ve totally fallen in the their immence colour option trap!
